Recently created social enterprise/ spin off of the University of Firenze MoCa Future Designers adopts art-based education and META methodology as innovative practice for social and education innovation.
The META project was presented to the ATEE Winter Conference organized by the Archimedes Institute from the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in the Netherlands on 15-16 February 2018. The main theme of the conference was"Technology & Innovative Learning".

Marianne Poncelet Vice Executive President of the International Yehudi Menuhin foundation has presented in the Greek Island of Crete the document of the Synthesis of the META Key Competences Framework to the partners of the new EU Erasmus + KA2 funded project the Multilingual Library for Children in Europe ( MULTILIB) as basic competences to be used for the creation of children games in the MULTILIB project.
Through the National Operational Plan for Education funded by the EU, the Italian Ministry of Education MIUR has launched a major investment to ensure equal opportunities, reduce school disadvantages and inequalities between territories and offer young girls and boys new experiences, competences, skills and opportunities.
The META project has been presented as a good practice of mainstreaming competences for global citizenship in Italian primary schools at the 36th GENE Roundtable, which took place in Bruxelles last 27-29th April 2017 and had participants from 22 differente EU member states.

One of these actors is the Berlin Network "Foundations and Education", created in 2016 on initiative of the federal association of German Foundations. META project has been presented to more than 40 participants at the International Meeting on Adult education in Erasmus+ to promote intergenerational and intercultural dialogue to build a society of inclusion and integration.
Under the guidance of Prof. Del Gobbo and her collaborators, around 40 students of the Department of Education have been involved in a four months Lab on META project framed in the course of "Analysis of Education and Training Needs" for the second level degree courses in sciences of adult and continuing education and sciences of pedagogy.

On 28th of June UNIFI staff met in Firenze Dr. Vittorio Iervese of University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, project officer of another Erasmus KA 3 project called Sharmed (http://www.sharmed.eu). SHARMED is coordinated by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy), in partnership with University Campus Suffolk (UK) and the Frederich Schiller University of Jena (Germany).
